Charles is the former Official Secretary and Chief Administrator of the Office of the Governor of Victoria. Since 2004, his position was enhanced to provide an advisory and “Ambassadorial role” to the Victorian Premier and Government on trade, investment and biotechnology, especially in China and North Asia.
He joined the Board of the Howard Florey Institute in 2003 and was appointed a Governor of the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health in 2007. He was a Councillor of Monash University from 2005 to 2011 and also served on the Monash University Malaysia Board.
Charles has extensive links to China. He was awarded Honorary Citizenship of Jiangsu Province in 2008, was inducted as an Advisory Professor at Nanjing’s South Eastern University in 2009, was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 5th World Chinese Economic Forum in 2013, and was appointed as a Guest Professor by Shanghai’s Tongji University in 2015.
He is Patron of the Asian Australian Foundation, Vice-President of the Australia China Business Council (Victoria), and Patron and President of the Lion 1818 Club.
Charles has received a number of high level awards including Monash University’s highest accolade, a Doctor of Laws Honoris Causa. He was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia in 2020 for distinguished service to the Crown, to public administration in Victoria, to medical research, and to Australia-China business relations.

He has achieved multiple professional awards, including the Ernst & Young Southern Region Entrepreneur of the Year for Services Award in 2002.
Bob is responsible for the development of strong and inclusive leadership. His goal is to progress the corporate success of the company and its related entities through the creation of robust business models, the establishment of a strong corporate culture and the attraction of world-class talent.

Professor Gab Kovacs is internationally regarded for his outstanding contribution to medicine. He has had a distinguished career both in general obstetrics and gynaecology, as well as in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Professor Kovacs is a pioneer in the development and success of IVF and assisted reproduction generally. He has also played a critical role in advancing research and creating ground breaking new technologies for patients.
Professor Kovacs is principally responsible for the development and maintenance of strong relationships with prominent medical academics and specialists, leading universities and major health organisations.

Russell is a highly qualified and experienced healthcare professional who played a key role in growing the CPIC Allianz health insurance group in China from start-up to a $billion turnover business in six years. He has held high level roles as Chief Operations Officer and Chief Digital Officer with CPIC Allianz, as Chief Executive of the Munich Re (Group) in Saudi Arabia, as Chief Executive of Latrobe University Private Hospital in Australia, and a number of other large healthcare providers.
Russell has successfully led business ventures from start-up to exit. His current commercial interests are in the design, leadership and transformation of global health and financial service businesses, with a special interest in cross-border transactions.
Russell is responsible for the establishment of mutually-beneficial commercial relationships with the goal of achieving rapid growth and a successful exit for Sonoa. Russell is also responsible for ensuring Sonoa complies with relevent international, legal and corporate regulations and accepted principles of good governance.

Jody is a highly experienced information and communications technology expert who has been developing innovative and intelligent software in digital health for more than 20 years. He has strong leadership and project management skills, having gained experience coordinating large ICT teams and complex technology projects.
He has worked on solutions for Origin Healthcare, RACV, Colonial First State, Sony, Sonoa Health, Winscan and many others.
Jody is responsible for managing all digital technology projects and for ensuring they're consistent with Sonoa’s strategic business direction. Jody actively participates in business management and corporate governance decisions.
Richard is a highly experienced and well-known creative art director who has worked on high profile projects with well-known companies including DisneyToon Studios, Dreamworks TV and Media World Pictures.
Richard produced Sonoa's animated characters and directed Sonoa's talented creative team of animators, illustrators, story tellers and voice over artists who established our large library of consumer-facing, medically-verified content, which includes written articles, illustrations and animations. Richard was instrumental in developing our innovative work practices and production processes with doctors, medical writers and script writers to ensure accuracy as well as managing a range of out-sourced production studios ensuring production expectations and the highest best practice processes.
Richard is responsible for managing all creative elements of the Sonoa range of digital products and in particular, to ensure they are consistent with Sonoa’s strategic business direction. Richard actively participates in business management and corporate governance decisions.

Professor Leon Piterman is the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education), Berwick and Peninsula, Monash University, Melbourne, Victoria. Professor Piterman’s clinical and research interests lie in the areas of chronic disease management, mental health and medical education, including distance learning.

Professor Henry Burger is an eminent clinician-scientist, with a distinguished career in medical research. He has also been awarded a Doctor of Laws honoris causa from Monash University - its highest honour.

Professor Geoffrey Metz is Director of Medical Education at the Epworth Hospital Clinical School, University of Melbourne, Australia. Professor Hatem Salem is an Emeritus Professor at Monash University. He was the Head of the Academic Department of Clinical Haematology at Monash University and the Head of Clinical Haematology at the Alfred Hospital. He served as President of Asia Pacific Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis and as President and Executive Director of the Australasian Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis. He is a senior Counsellor of the International Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis.
